Waiting on I-485, presently holding H1 and need to travel

I'm currently waiting for my adjustment status to be processed, my H1 visa is good until 10-27. due to job, I need to travel abroad next week and maybe another time before 10-27. Will there be any issue upon returning at the port of entry?

For as long as your H1 is approved and stamp and valid, you can re-enter using that without any problems. Just carry evidence of your H1 status (paystubs, employment letter, etc.)

Therefore traveling with valid H1, does not mean that I am abandoning Adjustment process?
