Finger Print - FBI not having my record

HI ,

Me and my spouse did the FP this Jan . Spouse FP is processed and sent to INS where as mine they dont have records , when asked INS they tell it is their job and not to worry.

Can anybody tell me how to get to know what is happening

Did you check with FBI number to confirm that they are not having your record? FBI numbers are 304-625-5590 or at 304-625-2406. With A# and they'll tell if they've sent it to INS or not. Some times AVM (Automatic voice message from INS) is very confusing. For my case the fingerprint message is updated in Feb and for my spouse it has been updated only in March. But FBI has sent the results promptly in Feb itself while checking with A#.

INS will not give any info regarding this through phone, we may have to go there to track further. Sometimes it is only a matter of AVM update delay.

I had checked with FBI they dont have my info. whereas they do have my wife's info.
