What happens if AOS is denied ?

Hi all,
just wanted an expert view.My hubby is adjusting from B1/B2 based on marriage with me.He is from India

1) What happens if the I-485 is denied ?? can we reapply ?

2) What happens if the AOS is denied at the interview or during the process.. do they give sometime to go back and reapply with K3 .......... or they just deport ?

Did he enter on B2 and marry after getting here or were you married abroad and him enter on B2?

he entered on B1/B2 and we married after he was here.

1) You can file a MTR (motion to re-open) the case or file for I-485 again.
2) They usually give time to depart voluntarily (30 days).

Why are you expecting a denied I-485?

If its done right and he will not be denied. On the other hand, if you wanna make sure of smooth sailing, hire a lawyer. It's worth it.
