Case pending but my passaport will expire!!!

My case is pending, actually on hold because of the RFE that I'll send next week.
My question is, can I renewal my passaport? That will not interfere on the process??? Do I need to show them that I've a new passaport???

Please Help!!!

Passport renewal has got nothing to interfere with your case.
