Clarification

Hi guys,
I have two important questions that I need help with.
1) On the I-485, I checked box (h) and listed my reason for the application as 'Married to a US Citizen' and for my daughter as 'Unmarried child of Intending Immigrant'. I was reading another post that stated that I should have checked box (a).

2) I've travelled to the US on more than four occasions but a week after I got here, I married my fiance' and decided to stay. It was hard for me to make that decision plus my daughter was here with me too (she's 16). The post that I read states that marrying your fiance' a short time after getting here can raise a red flag as well. I never planned to and at the same time, I had my job as a department manager to go back to. My vacation was so that I could take my daughter here during the Summer and spend some time with her. I'm employed out of my country and hardly spent any time with her.

Please tell me what you guys think. I sent in my application yesterday and with a good heart, I really want my daughter, my husband and, myself to be happy.

You will be questioned harder... but it is up to you to prove that this was an "spontaneous" thing (to marry your spouse).

It will be harder to prove since, you two were engaged and you married only 1 week after your arrival.

I'll prepare for myself if I have to go under much scrutiny. I didn't decide until the last minute to stay as I had my job to go back to. It was a difficult decision though. I arrived 07/12/08, got married 07/19/08 and was scheduled to go back 07/21/08. I'll let you guys know how things work out and thanks for your reply.
