Validity of I-693

I filed my I485 last year in Aug'2007 without I-693 form.

I submitted my I-693 form after i recieved my I-485 receipt from uscis.

I like to know

1) Will they consider my I-693 which was submitted later, after the last date of filing I-485. and now its complete 1 year ..will its validity expire OR will remain valid till my case is processed.

If the case is not approved past 1 year of the date the exam was performed you may have to retake it.
