Have a question on a joint sponsor.
My wife and I are going to be filing the I – 485 package here soon and we need to have a joint sponsor. The joint sponsor that we have is more than willing to help us but there is one year that she did not make enough money.
For the year 2001 – 50k
For the year 2000 – 49k
For the year 1999 – 11k. She was sick this year.
For the year 1998 – 20k.
Would anyone know if the year 1999 would be a problem for INS? Or would they accept 4 years on tax returns? Also, how long does a person have to live in Sacramento before they can file there?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
