Medical Exam-PraetorianXI please help!!!

I have an appointment for medical exam on next Monday.Yesterday I called again for confirmation.But the doctor told me I have to bring the receipt of I 485 along and I told him I don´t have it yet.
He said I should wait until I have it.So my questions is......is he right?
And when I have my medical Exam need I to pay the fees because didn´sent with package I-485.

If you remember I did only sent I-130(got receipt) and followed your advice and sent I-485(incl.other required forms)but not medical exam.I didn´t got receipt yet but they cashed my check.So I hope this is a good sign.You told me I may become trouble because my I-94 was expired at this time.

Bring a filled out I-485 form... maybe the just need to use that to fill out your I-693 information.

He is not right in saying "bring the receipt"... but then again, it is probably not the doctor but a mediocre office clerk who told you this.
