PraetorianXI- would you please comment on this RFE situation?
I recieved an RFE to prove/show lawful admission or parole into the U.S. According to the RFE, an acceptable document to present, but not limited to is I-94 Arrival Departure Record, Visa page, along with a copy of the actual RFE notification letter. I submitted a copy of my I-94 record, as well as my U.S visa stamped page of my passport.
Here is what I'd like to know, if you can consider my question. My visa was good for only one year, 06/1998-06/1999. It's been expired. However, I've been able to maintain and otain an EAD( Temporary Protected Status based) since then, with the latest one that is good until 03/2009. My interpretation of the RFE I recieved was that the USCIS wants to whether or not I have a current legal status. Based on this, I included a copy of my most recent EAD, and the Federal Announcement that explains the nature of my EAD.
Would this have any negative bearing on my case( I-485 marraige based)? Is the evidence I've submitted good?
