Hi experts,
Presently I am on H1 and also have an EAD.Recently came out of the project.My family is in India on H4.
For H1 holders,my employer pays for 2 weeks and then cancell the H1,if don't get any project.This is done,because they have to legally pay till the employee is on H1.
Since market is bad,it different to get corp to corp jobs.I got the job offer,to join the customer permanently on EAD.
I have already completed 180 days since filing I-485 only for myself on EB3( my family didn't able to come to US during that period).My company assures me,that the dependent applications will be filed once the PD becomes current.
If I join another employer on EAD,what could be status of my dependents? Since they have not yet applied for the GC process,I wanted to maintain their status active.
If they loose their status,they won't be able to come to US for GC filing,when the PD becomes current.
My company has also applied for EB2 recently,which makes things more complex.
Can you guide me about the available options?
