Where can I find the current information whether I am eligible to file I-485 or not?

October visa bulletin assuming you will not be able to file it in September.

Now I am totally confused. I opened a thread earlier in which I wanted to know if the sep 30 deadline applied to me. Someone replied that it was the august bulletin. My priority date is Feb 2002. Do I have to send my I-485 papers before 30th september?

Next month bulletin will be out by Oct 10-12th. Usually, depending on your PD, you have to either rush or relax based on what is in the new bulletin.

If your category is EB2, you could be okay even with the Oct bulletin. Try to understand how things work.
