Hi, I'm pretty sure this has been posted already but I'm short of time so I'll post it. I'm separated from my husband, it's not a legal separation. We filed the I-485 about a year ago. How does the separation affect his status? Would they automatically cut him off or perhaps postpone the interview? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

They would ask for proof of staying together, leading a married life for such approvals. Otherwise, the marriage could be deemed fraud just to get a GC.
