  • PraetorianXI : My visa experience, you suggesstions

I had my interview today at Baltimore office. I reached there on time . My wife and I answered all questions honestly. Our baby was with us. She saw our documents Xeroxed few. My wife volunteered that she should see our pictures , That she saw.
At the end she said , Do we have any questions. My wife said No.

Ok she said we are done. She took my I-94, returned my EAD and passport. While walking through the door I asked her. Do we need to wait for application decision. She said at the max 180 days and said I need to see do I need anything else before I send it?????????
Did not stamp my passport or said anything...
I dont know ?????Are we on right track.
One more thing she did not gave Us reciept that we take interview???
    Waiting for our reply.
    Regards,

    Zion

You should hear something within 30 days, if that does not happen, make an infopass appointment.

She is either lazy and wanted to save herself some paperwork that day, or she has not enough "authority" to approve the application and has to run this by a supervisor first.

Either way, if you think you did good. You are probably fine... just sit tight and wait a little more.

      Thank you for your reply.
I think we did well. We had a great chat. She asked about my tests and seemed interested to hear that.
We showed her that we donot need any I-864 a support since my Wife is earning enough. I am getting ready for Residency interview.
She even did not ask for Pictures, proof of address.
She corrected few things on form and asked my wife to do initials.
At last she asked me those questions: have you ever done this and that blah blah blah............. I wonder ,
      Thank you sir
