I am both a New Zealand and Taiwan citizen and I just married my American wife. I entered US as a J-1 scholar without the 2 year limitation. I am trying to apply for permanent residency in the US right now. I have two questions and I would greatly appreciate some help.
1. Do I report both my New Zealand and Taiwan citizenship on the forms I file,? (the J-1 visa is on my New Zealand passport)
2. Should I submit the original or the copies for the documents for proof? I don't want to lose any of the Taiwanese birth certificate, my wife's birth certificate, marriage certificates, I-94 etc. in the mail or not returned to me afterwards. Is there a way to make legally certified copies in US easily?
thank you for your time
