before posting questions, here's the history.
I am on R1 visa, visa & I94 expires on nov 2, 2008.
(1) I360 got approved
(2) filed I485, I131, I765
(3) got receipts for the three
(4) got a biometrics appointment for I485, I765 on 29th oct, 2008.

here are the questions:
*what's next in the process?
*what about my I131?
*My I94 too expires. how long can I stay here & what to do when I travel again?

You will not be out of status as "Between the time the adjustment of status is filed and it is approved, the applicant is considered to be in legal status as an "applicant to adjust status." Y

I nave the same situation and have received my Employment Authorization Card (valid for 2 years) six weeks after I filed I-765. Me and my wife did our biometrics on Oct 24, 2008. My I-94 expired Oct 24, 2008 but I-485 was filed Aug 16, 2008. Thanks to Immihelp's excellent website I could get all my questions answered.

I did not apply for I-131 as I do not need Advance Parole. Hope someone can help you there.
