Hi,
I just sent my I-485 related documents. What is the next step? How do I know that my application is being processed.
Also, my PD is Feb-2002 , EB-2 category. Does USCIS pick up the cases based on how old the case is if the PD is current? In other words, if there are other cases that have the PD in 2002, does USCIS process cases first that had the labor certified first or is it first come first serve basis?

You will receive a notice that they have received your application.

Wait until your priority date is current. Once it is, your case will be processed in the order received. Before approving your case, you will also receive the notice for getting fingerprinted at some point.

Any idea after how long they cash the checks is the notice expected!!
