is anyone knows about marriage processes,can u share with me. If i have receipt from immigration is it possible to get an Ohio driver license? or do i have to wait to receive work authorization first?

some dmv places would issue u if u have notice of approval and most owuld still want to see u employment auth card. It really depends on the person who see and how strict the dmv is. At my area notice of approval is sufficient with other documents. -
In most places you can not get a driver's license without a SSN, and you can not get a SSN without and EAD. Licence without SSN
In NY, you can go to Social Security office and they issue a certificate stating that they cannot issue SSN and based on this document, you can apply for a licence in lieu of SSN but you have to complete other eligibility.Comment

i got my EAD in 9 days after i got the internet notice.and yes here in Ohio(i am in CLE) you will need the EAD to get the DL.Comment
