  • Medical examination

My husband and I had our medical examinations done in August 2001. I was not given the TB tests and the MMR vaccinations as I was pregnant . The doctor just mentioned that the vaccinations were not given on the copy of the medical report he gave me. He also mentioned that I may be eligible for blanket waiver as I was pregnant.

Do I have to get the TB test and vacinations done after my baby is born?(due in April) and send the reports to INS or wait till they ask for evidence of vaccinations? Do they ask for such evidence at all and will it delay the I-485 application process?

For a new mom, taking MMR is not advisable if nursing, so you might have to wait not just till april. Generally INS is sympathetic to it, maximum they can send a medical RFE (when an IIO looks at your file before approving) at which time you can do the MMR and send it.
Of course you can also send it whenever you can.
