I-485, Medical Exam - Spouse Pregnant

Hi,

I have to get medical examination for I-485. My wife is pregnant and we know that doctor will give her medical certificate indicating that she can take her vaccinations
sp. MMR after the baby is delivered. I want to know that does her medical report defering vaccination delays the I-485 processing??

Depending the sympathy meter of the IIO who gets assigned your case, your wife will get a medical RFE. Responding to a RFE delays the process by a few months.
However, once the baby is an year old or so and your 485 is still pending, your wife can do the vaccines and send those results to INS (with I485 receipt copy) to avoid the delay.

When your wife is pregnant, the doctor will not give any vaccine such as MMR to either your wife or to even you. (If you get MMR vaccine, she can get infected when you get intimate.) They will waive it and write the waivers in the medical form. Need not worry about it.
