Possibly getting divorce

My company has filed my I-140 and I-485 last year August and I have not yet been approved. My husband is obtaining his greencard through me and we have both received EAD cards through 2010. We are separated and I don't think he should benefit from my process if he could not "do the time" so to speak.

Can I remove him from the I-485 application without hindering my own progress?

Once you obtain a divorce, you can write to USCIS with the relevant info and take care of it.
