Help - what does the message mean?

I got a reply from INS stating "Please resubmit the document with authenticity and accuracy verification from the counsular office"

Can anyone please tell me how to interpret this. I had submitted orignals + copies of non-availiblity birth certificate + 2 affadavits from relatives confirming birth records for my mom.

They kept the copies and returned the orignals along with the above message.

To me it sounds like you would need some confirmation for those documents from the embassy.

You mean the US embassy in my home country? How will they give me appointment. Can someone else go to the embassy in my behalf?

Sorry for so many questions. I am so confused. I am also consulting some lawyers to figure out the right course.
