EAD Renewal while outside USA

Hi,
Seniors Pls help
My spouse went to India . Can I file EAD renewal for my spouse while outside US? . I heard that if we file ead renewal manually(not an efile) then we dont need to go for finger printing?

Need the signature on paper based from the spouse. Would not be able to answer questions like Status of last entry in US, Current Status in US, Place of last entry in US on the form.

You would have to wait till s/he returns. Yes, paper filing does not require biometrics for renewal.
