    I-130 filed. Shall I wait to file for I-485?

    Hi! Am currently in the US on B-1 Visa. My wife applied for I-130 last week after we got married. Since we didn't apply for I-485 concurrently at the time of filing the I-130, do we have to wait till we receive a confirmation/receipt? Also, how long before we hear from them if the petition is accepted.
