I-485 without Medical I-693

I Have Two Questions:
1) Can I send the I-485 without the I-693 and later submit them when asked for?

2) While sending out the I-130, my wife made a mistake in writing the I-94 number of the I-94 card. Instead of the printed number on the card, she wrote the FINS# written by the Immigration officer. Although, a copy of the I-94 was attached to the forms, I am wondering, if that would mess up the application.

1. Depends. Sometimes mailroom rejection could happen as I693 is considered as initial evidence of eligibility. Some have made it and some have been returned. Risky.

2. Write a letter to USCIS referencing the correction in RED ink and provide documents like a copy of the filed I485 with the A#. That will go into your file. Not a major issue. They will RFE if it is an issue.

Thanks for the info. Could you also give me info on another issue. My wife applied for the I-130.I am currently in the US on a B-1/B2 Visa. We should have filed the I-485 concurrently, but now are not sure whether to send out the I-485 or wait till we hear from the USCIS regarding the I-130. Whats your advice?

Medical forms

I have a very good lawyer who has helped me through this process and she suggested that I submit the medical forms along with the I-485. She said doing so would move the process along much faster, so it's not a bad idea to complete the medical now. Just be sure to get a certified USCIS civil surgeon to complete the forms.
