    need advice

    I'm a citizen of United states. My mother is here on visitor visa. What is the best way to extend her visa , apply for her visitor visa extension or apply for adjustment of status?
    I prefer apply for adjustment of status but I heard that my mother will not be able to go back India even in emergency case until she get her green card.
    Is it true?
    Any advice.
