I've received a Request for Initial Interview for my I-485, slated for 2/10/2009. I'm currently on EAD, with I-140 approved in 2007 and I-485 (employment based) pending since 10/2007.
I've accepted a job offer based on my EAD, with a starting date of 1/26/09. However, I was unemployed since 12/4/08 because of a lay-off and was waiting for the EAD. Will not having a paystub between 12/4/08 thru 1/26/09 becomes a reason for denial? The notice requires me to bring paystubs for the past 2 months.
Also, I had a misdeameanor (DUI/DWI) back in 2002. Will this also be a reason for immigration to deny my I-485?
Thanks
