Spouse Status
Derivative I-485 pending for less than 180 days. Current status: Parolee

Question
Events like changing employer or lay off has any impact on derivative GC as it is still employment based derivative case?

I'm not sure I fully understood the response. To be explicit, I am trying to know whether pending I-485 is in jeopardy or not due to events like layoff? Thanks

The derivative case is based on your GC petition not your employer that sponsored the GC. It would have been at stake if the primary was pending. Now it is not.
