Boyfriend already has a green card?

Since he already has a green card, would we have to do anything (change status, fill out papers?) if we get married? I just found this forum, I know nothing about immigration. I am born here.


Once thing I saw on this site, is that I do not make the income to "support him".
I have Social Security disability.

He owns his own business here.

From what I understand, you are U.S. citizen and your boyfriend already has greencard.

If both of you get married, you don't have to file any papers regarding immigration.
