I-824 Question for PraetorianX1

I have been visiting this forum for several months now, but this is my first question, and I would really appreciate it if you can provide an answer for me.

My girfriend got married last year and her US citizen husband is filing an I-130 for her and her sixteen year old son who does not live in this country. My questions are as follows?
1. Should she file an I-824 for her son?
2. If so, what other forms should she file for him in addition to the I-824?
3. Since he is sixteen years old and out of the country, can she sign for him, as his parent?

She cannot afford an attorney presently.

Thank you for responding Praetorian. I am sorry that my question was unclear.

My girlfriend is currently married to a US citizen. She is presently in the US. Her husband is petitioning for both her and her son. Her son, however is not here. He has a valid US visitors visa, and lives in another country where he is presently.

Her husband is filing an I-130 for her son and wants to know if there are any additional forms that he needs to submit along with the I-130 which will enable a faster and less complicated process.
