Hi everyone. I have just received notice that my green card has been ordered. Once I have the actual card do I still need to go back to the USCIS office to get a stamp put in my passport? I currently just have an expired I-94 in it. Also what do I do with my EAD card once I get the green card? Do I destroy it or return it to the USCIS office? I dont need the ead card once I have the green card right? Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks

Once you receive the Green Card, make sure the name is spelled correctly. Then get a new passport (it might not be necessary, but check with your embassy. It is good idea to get a new one though. The new passport usually bears PR status.) If it looks good, you do not need to do anything else. Enjoy being a PR.

i want to ask, are you married to a US citizen? Have you go to the process of interview? Did they get your I-94? And how long did you wait for your greencard? Because i do have an interview for adjustment of status, the IO did not get my I-94, she said i do have a xerox copy. The interview went well but she did not give us any paper, she told us that they will review the papers, and if they need somehing they will mail us, That was last Sept.'08, but until now there is no answer yet. I didn't hire any atty,
ti'll wait for your reply. thanks

why do you still need I-765?
I dont understand why do we still need t file I-765 EAD since we filed already the I-130 and I-485? Isnt it if we have a tempo green card we are authorized to work in us? Or we need to file the I-765 so that the SS and drivers license can speed up immediately? please enlighten me on this. thank you
