This is a question relating to filing I-130.
In the form I-130, question 14 under Part C requires to state the date of arrival and I-94 number if the relative is in the US. My question is, which date and I-94 number is this referring to: The date the relative first came into the US or the most recent arrival.
The relative came in the US as a student in 2004. He is still under F-1 category and has left the country atleast 5 times for various trips. The most recent arrival is February 2009. So do i put the intial arrival date of 2004 or the most recent one of February 2009.
Also, there is not a specific expiration on authorised stay for F-1 category. All his I-94's state D/S, which means duration of study. However, his visa stamped in the passport expires May 2009. Do I state NONE referring to the D/S on the I-94 or do I state the visa expiration date as on the visa.
Please respond. Thank you so much.
