Will my Husband's criminal record affect my I-130,I-485 petition?

Hi there,
I am new to this forum and am not sure if somebody asked this question already. My U S C husband has a criminal record and cannot work with the US government. I was wondering if he can still petition on my behalf

His criminal record will not impact unless there is some fraud involved with the petition as such or the marriage.
