Hi,
My fiance and I are getting married towards the end of next month. She is a USC and shall be filing i-485 asap and expect the interview date towards the end of the year.
What is bothering me is that we would not have any tax returns available by then which shows our names on it to prove a bonifide marriage since the current tax year is nearing its end.
Another concern is that I had overstayed my original visa and had performed some side jobs for which I had filed taxes under my social security number which was given to me while i was in a university.
What is the best way to procede with this situation ?! should I just file my taxes for current year ending in april seperately and let her show finances to be able to support me (affidavit of support) or should i admit to the USCIS officer about holding a job without a permit.
responses would be greatly appreciated.
