Folks,
Just a quick question. Any suggestions on whether I should have an attorney present at my Interview to Adjust my status and hopefully get my 2 year temp Green Card?
My wife and I have been married for 6 months--its a legit marriage--no crazy marriage for papers here--we have lived together for one year prior to getting married. She has changed here Drivers License probably a year ago, we have credit cards, bank accounts, filed tax returns together, etc. No issue with Law Enforcement by either of us and I am assuming my finger prints are fine too.
My interview is the middle of next month (May) and i wanted to see what you thought about whether I should have an attorney present during the interview.
Any thoughts on what you are planning to do/have done or heard from others?
My attorney is changing $800.00 for a pre-meeting with us, appearing at the interview and dealing with minor issues should they arise from the meeting.
Thoughts?
