Receipt Date and Transfer to diiferent center

We filed I485 in July07 during mad rush to TSC. They transferred some of the applications to California center for initial processing as TSC could not handle the volume at that time. In Jan'08 California Servcie Center transferred it back to TSC. Question here is does the original receipt date of July'07 still valid or does TSC consider Jan'08 as the new receipt date? This might make a huge difference as there could be lot of cases filed in between. Transfer notice does not show July07 as the receipt date. Please clarify.

The original receipt date still holds good. Each case is stamped with a receipt date in RED on the actual filing. What the transfer notice says is not significant.

There is no established guideline that there is a FIFO algorithm in USCIS approvals though.
