I entered LEGALLY with a B1/B2 Visa in 1997.(expired in 2007)
I got married in 98, applied for adjustment of status-got a S.S.N and work authorization card,(Expired now),
We never went to an interview as we broke up and I separated from my wife in 99. We were officially divorced in 2006.
Today I married my partner of the last 9 years and I will soon be commencing a second adjustment of status application and i need some advice on which forms etc to file.
I do not have any of my prior application NOR do i have my I-94 card. What is the best way to go about getting legal again?
ALSO, i intend to change my last name, i guess i should do this before i do the application right?
