Hi everyone,
I have read threads on this forum extensively but this is my first post. My wife and I have our AOS interview next month and we're worried about a few things which we thought some of you might be able to help us with. Our receipt date (for the entire package) was April 17th and our interview is on the 23rd of July but as of today I still haven't received my EAD. I was on OPT before we got married and I haven't been able to work since my previous EAD expired on May 11th. Now, the notice for interview requires us to bring our pay stubs for the past two months which, evidently, I won't have. My wife is also in between jobs right which we know won't help us at all. Are letters from our employers along with our '08 tax returns enough? We are worried that we might not have enough evidence to show our ability to support ourselves. If anyone has had a similar experience or has any insight, your post would be greatly appreciated!
