    Dual I485: Is the 'Receipt date' of first 485 retained?

    Gurus, please help..
    The situation is, my friend has I-140 filed thro' current emloyer A and another I-140 approved for future employer B.
    He wants to file I485 thro' B now. Then intends to file I485 of A after its I140 approval and cancel the I485 of B.
    Does he retain the 'Receipt date' of the first I485 for the second one even after cancelling the first I485?
    Please confirm.
