Dear Friends,
Me and my wife had our green card interview in Cleveland office on May19th, 09 and the officer said he is going to approve the case and I am gonna receive my card withing 30 days. We didn't receive the card yet. We got infopass appointment, they said just wait till I get a letter clearing my internal obligation? what does that mean please? After getting it, you can get to the office and get my passport stamped. I thought it is background check stuff, I called FBI and said they cleared my case the same day I got my biometrics taken, and sent it back to USCIS the same day? So could you tell me please what does internal obligation means? What can I do in the mean time to inquire about my case, just call or something else?
