laid off before 180 days

Hi. I've been laid off before 180 days after I applied for I-485. I already have an Employment Authorization Document. I have found another job. Can I start my new job before the 180 days expire or should i wait for the 180 days to pass.

I recommend that you start your new job. But wait until the 180-day point to notify the INS about the new position. Your old attorney can help you do it, or even the attorney at your new company, if they have one.
