I was wondering if anyone would help me answer my questions.My fiance and i are international students here in the USA. However, recently he won a green card and he wanted to marry me before he would file for the djustment of status so that both of us would have the same status.
Would it be right for us to go ahead and fill out the I-485 form and send it so that we get the green card at the same time? I mean filing for the green card now would take a shorter time if we do it togetehr rather than having him file for the green card by himself and then later marry me?
What do you think?
