F1 Visa

I got a VISA F1 (expiration date January 2010) and I attend an English course to UCLA tha I come back to Italy and I decided to apply for an undergraduate course to Santa Monica College where I was accepted. Now I will travel back to USA on August 3rd; Do I need to obtain another F1 VISA for the new school. In negative case, because I am still waiting the I-20 form from Santa Monica College can I enter in USA as tourist (without VISA) and then exchange my status there????

If you already had your visa you should have just transfer from UCLA to santa monica, and apply for new I-20. Since you ledt, and F1 is still valid you should be able to come back as long as I-20 is valid, tell officer you are planning transfering schools
