Hi,
My I-485 was filed in March 2001 and I have received an RFE for 1. 3 paystubs, 2. W-2 for 2000 & 2001 and 3. Letter from company stating continued desire to sponsor my case. I have been with the sponsoring employer all along.
My question is 1. What are the ramifications of changing jobs after replying to the RFE and 2. After approval.
I have'nt yet taken advantage of AC21. Is AC21 only for those who are > 180 days into the 485 process and not for approved cases?? Since INS is taking almost a year to process my case, can't I argue after GC approval, "If INS had processed my case in 180 days, I would have been free to change jobs by now?? So, I am taking advantage of AC21 after GC approval". Thanks very much for your pro bono service.
