Correction to I-485 after RFE

I received RFE on my 485 that there is a discrepancy in my mothers first name. On looking back on the 485 that i had submitted; i noticed that I have put my mothers maiden name (first name before her marriage) on the 485 instead.
my question is: is it possible to submit the correction to form 485 after this rfe? what are the consequences?

I thought the G325A specifically asks for the maiden name. I don't recall putting the mother's last name on a 485. Don't they just ask for the first name specifically on the 485?
