An interview will be scheduled with the local USCIS office. It happens in the next 1 month and the interview will be in 2 months from the date of transfer to Lees Summit MO.

It usually is for use of AC21, Divorce, Arrest, Bad fingerprints or random pick. Nothing to be worried about if you have been legal. They ask for tax returns for past 4 years, W2s, bank statements to prove joint stay by husband wife etc.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

Thanks for your reply and now I can wait with peace of mind though it is almost 4months now.

4months is quite long. There are many instances of letters getting lost in the mail. They also send a letter to the attorney on file. Check if your attorney received anything.

Also, the timeline for interview depends on how busy the local office is.

Which local office do you belong to? Offices in California, Texas, Florida and NY are pretty busy and appointments will take a while. But your delay is way off. You need to talk to USCIS and make sure an interview is not set-up. Try calling or going for an infopass at your local office.

If it is a no show, 485 will be denied.

I had a visit this afternoon with infopass at Atlanta Immigration Center but they even did not ask my receipt notice number or any thing. They told me to call the 1800 number to get the updates but I already called and created SR.I received a letter saying that'they are actively processing my case' and wait for 6 months from the date of the letter which means I have to wait until Jan2010.

just wanted to share with you all with infopass info.

                    Thanks again!

Thanks for the thread of info ..... I got a request for info on my i130 proof of marriage and the return address was for Missouri I i filed my complete package on Oct 31st 2018. I didn't think anything of it honestly I completed my biometrics on Nov 26th 2018 and had only been monitoring the i485 status online and not the i130. Which still reads that they accepted my finger print fee. I did an over night package with the requested documents and they updated the site which states they recieved it on the 3rd. I guess now I continue to wait ..... no EAD card yet though really would like to start working my wife is holding it down but I really wanna take some of the load off of her so she can rest a bit.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

                        GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK
