I got selected for the GC lottery, and have just recieved my green card.
However, we did not apply for my husband, because his job was going to apply for him. We got the impression that it would be at no cost for us (and it cost approx $2000 for me to do it) So we decieded to wait, since it wasn't urgent for him, he is here on a H1b visa and can already work.
Now, it turns out we will pay approx $5000 if we go through his job! Is there any way he can still get a Green card through me or is it to late? $2000 is a lot cheaper than $5000!
