Walk-In for Biometrics - Alexandria, VA

Hello.

I have a Biometrics appt scheduled for 8/14, but I plan to walk-in with my wife this upcoming Saturday (8/1) in Alexandria, VA because our scheduled date presents a conflict. We plan on getting there when the office opens at 8am. I was wondering if anyone has done this in general or at Alexandria, VA. Did you encounter any problems? How long did you have to wait?

You do not have to go to that office. I also had my last biometric appointment in Alexandria,VA because it was scheduled by immigration court in Arlington. I was told (at the court) that even though I get appointment notice for a certain location, I can go to ANY office that does fingerprinting. So if you have to drive for 3 hours like we would have to, go to a office that is close to your home instead, the date and time scheduled, take the appointment notice with you and they will do the fingerprinting. I went to Norfolk instead, they looked at the notice and did my fingerprinting there. All the data goes into the same central database, so it DOES NOT matter which office you get biometrics done at. I hope I helped.


On the other hand, I do not believe they will take you if you have your appointment scheduled for a different day. You can try, but they have a big sign on the door that if you dont have appointment that day, they wont let you in.
