Get affidavits from parents and relatives. Also use your school marks cards. If you have a hospital birth record, that could help too.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

        Hi Kanak,

I am in the same boat as you are though I am yet to receive the RFE in hand. USCIS mailed it on 8/8/09.

How long did it take for you to receive the RFE letter? I am in the mid-west and trying to guess.

What did you send as your Birth Certificate? I obtained my BC from Consulate and sent it with I-130.

I am sure that will work out for you. My question was what form of birth certificate you sent that was not considered adequate by USCIS and they sent you the RFE?

I am applying for my mother (I-130, I-485).

But many years back, when I got my GC under EB2, I went through the same issues as you are at present. I submitted a non-availability from India plus 2 affidavits from elders.
