GC process while out of country

Anyone any trick or idea how we can stay outside of the country for couple of years which I485 is in process?
I don't think priority date will be current in near future..

Sha please let me know if you have any ..i am very fed up with this system...when you go to india you are flodded with Biometrics notice that demand to come back mercilessly...

I think we need to convert it to CP. that's what I got reply from other post. however still trying to find cons of CP.
