I would be filing for Adjustment of Status under 245(i) very soon thru the US CIS, I'm just waiting for my priority date to be current and waitng for the Notice Approval from the National Visa Center. My mother by the way filed for I-130 way back in 1997 and got an approval/priority date. I came here in the US in June 2000 under Tourist Visa (never went back in my home country, been out of status since January 2001) and would be eligible for Adjustment of Status under 245(i).
I'll be preparing the following fees & forms and I'd like to know if I got everything right as I am not seeking an assistance yet with a lawyer
1. Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence
2. Form I-485A Supplement A to Form 1-485 AOS Under 245i
3. Form I-864 Affidavit of Support Form (by Principal & a Joint Sponsor)
4. Form G-325A Biographic Information
5. Form I-765 Application for Employment Authorization
6. Form I-693 Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record
Fee: Personal Check Payment in the amount of $2,010.00
Breakdown of fee’s as follows :
$980.00 filling fee for I-485
$80.00 filling fee for G-325A
$1,000.00 Penalty Fee I-485 Supplement A Form
Also, since I will be filing thru Adjusment of Status (with the USCIS) in leiu of Consular Processing, do I need to include the payment of $70 for Review of Affidavit of Support? My current total fee is $2,010 and I'm not sure if I need to add an additional of $70 for submission of Affidavit of Support form.
I hope somebody can provide information or comment on what do I need to do. I've been trying to work on this for months now and I stumbled on this website, I've read couple of responses and seems very informative.
